"Until now we’ve used Click to Convert to put up a monthly 36 page document produced in MS Word with an extensive table of contents. It’s a manual for our members covering legislative change and good practice points. We found that using MS Word’s “save as web page” feature resulted in files of more than a megabyte, which is impractical for users connected via modems. So we used to do the job in PageMaker, and it meant putting in more than 100 links manually. Click to Convert splits the document up and turns all the table of contents entries into hyperlinks, saving us roughly three hours labour and producing a file which is much easier to use.
We’re now about to abolish paper mailings and distribute all our information online. We chose Click to Convert for this because non-technical staff can use it easily and it avoids expensive software and IT consultancy fees...”
