8-Week SAT Prep Course


This full length SAT Prep Course gives you the proven test-taking strategies and shortcuts necessary to maximize your Math, Reading and Writing scores on the SAT, whether you're taking it for the first time or trying to improve a previous score.   This course meets twice-a-week for a minimum of two hours per session, 32 class hours in all.

 

Our classes are small, which allows a great deal of interaction between you and the instructor during each class.  This creates an intimate learning environment that provides you with the confidence and comfort level to perform at your very best during the actual SAT Test.

  • How to pace yourself for each timed section
  • How to quickly eliminate incorrect answer choices

  • How to decide whether to guess or leave an answer blank
  • How to plug-in answer choices instead of using complicated formulas on the Math sections
  • How to optimize your essay writing skills for this new section of the SAT
  • How to quickly solve the unique Arithmetic, Geometry and Algebra problems written for the SAT
  • And how to practice each test section effectively to maximize your performance on Test Day

This is a powerful 6-hour review, broken into two sessions that highlight every significant test-taking strategy and formula discussed in the 8-Week Course. 

 

This review is offered shortly before each scheduled SAT Test and is a "Must" for students intent on maximizing their scores.

 

This Power Review can also be used as an inexpensive, diagnostic tool to determine if your student really needs a Prep Course before the SAT Test.

If your student prefers, they can form their own group with one or two other friends.  This is the same 32-hour syllabus used in the 8-Week SAT Prep Course, but with significantly more personal attention. 

 

If your student has a demanding schedule, the Semi-Private Course can afford you much greater scheduling flexibility.

Since some colleges don't require the writing scores for the SAT, Leading Edge Testing offers a condensed 12-hour class designed to cover all of the Reading strategies and Math short-cuts of the full Prep Course but with a maximum of two students per course.
 
The material is divided into four 3-hour sessions, and is scheduled upon request.
