The 'W'arehouse is poised to open in boca with a new fitness studio concept!
Boca Raton, FL - Upon entering Boca’s newest fitness studio concept (don’t call it a gym!)—the ‘W’arehouse—guests step into a world where fun, fitness, and motivation meet the elegance of the most exclusive spa setting. Created by veteran fitness professionals, Jen Rendfrey, Teri Velardi, and Jared Coughlin, the interior décor at the Warehouse was inspired by a vision to create the perfect environment for a healthy lifestyle and to deliver it in this most-trying of economic times.

A previous studio owner (multiple times) and personal trainer, Rendfrey has been down this road before, and she ultimately desires to deliver what the client needs thus ridding the space of all the extraneous fluff.  “We see ourselves being as affordable as a small town gym while retaining the level of customer service you would find a big-city spa, kind of like a boutique personal training studio in a ‘W’arehouse atmosphere and body,” stated Rendfrey.

Walking around the Warehouse, you get the sense that the assembled team knows just what they need to have to motivate their discerning and exclusive clientele, “This is not your run-of-the-mill cookie cutter facility” Jen explained, “our space is open and functional. The 1800 sq. feet of fun and fitness was also designed to foster personal attention —with a yoga studio, full kitchen (for cooking demonstrations), 100 foot projection TV (Wii!)—all rolled into one.”

Jen and team will cap membership at 150 to ensure exemplary quality delivery and attention, and the waiting list has already started forming, and the Grand Opening hasn’t even taken place yet (3/27). “Nobody does what we do, our trainers are highly skilled in all aspects of fitness and wellness and we run regular small groups, which delivers a semi-personal training scenario (typically 5:1 ratio of clients to trainer) a lot more affordable and our clients will feel the difference via the personal attention.”

Jen says the emphasis here is on delivering a niche concept to the right audience, and evolving to be able to continue to serve a discerning clientele when everyone has suddenly become much more cost-conscious. The ‘W’arehouse doesn’t have a juice bar but they do have classes that meet the need of every individual, including Triathlon training, 30 minute express air roping, Tour De France Rides, and lifestyle classes. “Our purpose is to teach and offer coaching, motivation, and empowerment. We’ve created a hybrid studio combining the personal training aspect with the niche fitness classes so that clients can pay $150 a month instead of $1,500 a month—simple as that,” stated Rendfrey.
