We have collected the answers to all your questions regarding Site2You services.

  • Q: Can I either constrain the size of a page or change the size of the text boxes on a page so that when rendered, each page is no bigger than 1280 x 720?

    Our templates are optimized to the minimal resolution standard of 1024x800 but we can change it for you if you need.

  • Q: Can there be a small alteration to the index page layout?

    Each of the templates has a certain set of the layouts that you may choose from. If you do not find the right layout for your pages you may always request to create a new one that suits your needs. The webmaster will do it for you.
  • Q: How to change the HTML name for the page (the way it is shown in the browser when you open it)?

    If you want to change the HTML name for any of the pages, please, follow this way
    a)    Log in into admin panel
    b)    Choose "Advanced Content Editing" tab
    c)    Choose “Pages”->”Work with Pages” (on the left)
    d)    Choose any Page you want to work with
    e)    In the new dialogue window opened , please, select the options/properties for your Page
    -    Page site URL (usually automatic, when you create a new Page)
    -    Page name
    -    HTML page title (here you can put any name you want to be displayed in the browser every time when you open this page)
    Also you may set up Meta tags for your page, create a “Read more” page, Link or choose not to Link the Page to the particular Menu button.

  • Q: How to create a new Read More page and change the layout for it ?

    To create a new Read more page, please follow the steps below:
    1. Admin Panel->Advanced content editing -> Pages-> Work with Pages-> Add a new page
    2. Please, name your page. Insert the same name in the first three lines for
    Page site URL (the way it is displayed in the address line of your browser)
    Page name (the name for the internal uses only, to find this page among the others on your site)
    Html page title (the text that goes on the very top of your browser and is seen to the customers)
    3. Select page template (usually it is one-splash-column page but you may choose a different layout from the drop-down list)
    4. Does a page have its own Meta tags and scripts? - Skip it for now
    5. Check “ Is this page a "Read more" page?” - Yes
    6. Read more order number --- If you give a unique name to this page, e.g. “MyOwnReadMore”  then you just put any order number. If you call the page simply Read More, then you should numerate it.
    Your template has only one Read More page as a default. It is called Read More 1
    7. Do not change settings for Infobox element access
    8. Save the changes by pressing “Add a new page wizard”

    Now, let’s link this new Read more page to the particular infobox

    Please, follow the steps:
    1. Admin Panel-> Edit page layout->Go to page (select the page that contain the wanted Infobox with Read More button)
    2. On the top of the infobox there is a blue bar with the internal name of the block and two icons on the right end of it. One icon is for “Delete” and the other is for “Configure current infobox”
    3. Please, hit “Configure current infobox” and get the new window opened
    4. Below the list of texts you will see “Has Read More page?” --- Select a proper Read More page from the drop-down list.
    5. Read more page template will always show default, so just click on “Save element” and observe the changes
  • Q: How to create a Read More and attach it to the infobox?

    To create a Read More page, please, follow the way
    1. Make sure that the current infobox has a Read More area/button
    2. Admin Panel->Advanced content Editing->Pages-> Work with pages-> Add a new page
    3. Fill in the form
        Page site URL, Page name, Html page title - should be one and the same name, e.g.”Read More 1”
        Select page template- Usually Read More page is one column page, like SubPage
        Does a page have it´s own Meta tags and scripts? - Skip it for now
        Is this page a "Read more" page? - “Yes”
        Read more order number - Just the order number of your Read More page
    3. Click on “Add a new page wizard”, once you fill in all the fields required.
    4. Now, let’s link the newly created Read More to the infobox that requires Read More page
    5. Please, perform the following actions Admin Panel-> Edit page layout-> Configure Current infobox-> “Has read more page”?-“Yes”-> From drop down list select the right one-> Save element
  • Q: How to link a particular Read More page to the infobox?

    To link a particular Read More page to the infobox, please, perform the following actions

    1. Make sure that the current infobox has a Read More area/button

    2. Admin Panel-> Edit page layout-> Configure Current infobox-> “Has read more page?”-“Yes”-> From the drop down list select the right one

    3. “Save element”
  • Q: Is the layout of the web content is identical/similar as the home page?

    Each of our templates has a certain set of the layouts/structures for the pages. Please, click through the pages and review all of the layouts presented in this particular template. If you need to create a specific layout you may always ask the webmaster and we will do it for you.
  • Q: When you save my site as a Favorite on your browser, it says Just main page as it is. What do I do to change the default text name saying MyCompanyName.com

    To change the title of the page, please, open the page in Edit Page Layout mode, click Page Properties, edit HTML page title and press the Save button. You can also edit titles of other pages.
