  • Q: How to create a new Menu button?

    To create a new Menu button, please, follow the way

    Admin Panel-> Edit content-> Double click on the Menu->In the new window click on New Item->Fill in the form-> Add a new button to Menu

    If you want it to be a submenu button, please, specify its location by Dragging and Dropping it under a Parent Menu button within “Edit content” window.

  • Q: How to switch Menu button from Main to Sub menu button?

    To create a new Menu item, or change the properties of the existing one, please, perform the following actions:
    1.    Log in to your Admin panel
    2.    Choose "Advanced Content Editing" tab
    3.    Choose “Static Content”->”Site Menu”
    4.    To switch the Main button to Submenu button, please, hit the button you want to change and in the opened window change the option “Item Level” (Main Menu or Sub Menu)
    5.    To add a new button, please, use the “Plus” sign on the right from “Site Menu”
    Or Click on any of the existing buttons and on the very top of a new window opened,
    hit “+ Element”
    6.    You fill out the fields
    -    Menu item name
    -    Where to display current item? (all site Menu default)
    -    Menu item options
    -    Page to link menu item
    -    Display on site?
    -    Item position
    -    Item level (Main Menu or Sub Menu)
    -    Parent menu item (for Sub Menu buttons only)
    -    Infobox element access (Infobox has no private access option)

    6.    Press “Save element

  • Q: When I click on Menu button it takes me to Edit Menu window. Why does not it take me to the content of the page?

    The reason why you are not taken to the page is that you might not have that button linked to any page or you do not have a page for that button at all.
    Please, perform the following actions to check if there is a page for your button.
    -    Admin Panel
    -    Edit Content mode
    -    Click on the Menu area to get the new dialogue window opened
    -    You can see the list of buttons
    -    Choose a menu item and lick on the right “Arrow” button
    -    In drop down menu choose “Properties”
    -    Check “Page to link menu item” and choose the page to link the button to

     

    If there is no page with identical name, you will have to create a new page.
    Please, read the information below first and then decide which way to choose
    Since you already have a Menu button, we might create a new page and link it to the button in the following way
    •    Log in into your Admin Panel
    •    Go to Advanced Content Editing -> Pages-> Work with Pages-> Add a New Page
    •    Fill out all the fields to finish the Page creation


    Page site URL (internal link to the page, usually just the name of the page)
    Page name
    Html page title (the name seen in the browser when this page is opened)
    Select page template : 2,3 columns, index(will have the exact structure as your Home page),subpage(1 splash column)
    Does a page have it´s own Meta tags? (you may skip it for now)
    Is this page a "Read more" page?
    Link this page to the following menu button (choose the existing button or create a new one)

     

    If you do not have Menu Item yet, to create a new page you should perform the following actions
    Log in to your Admin Panel
    •    Switch to Edit Page Layout mode
    •    Click “Add Page
    •    In a new dialogue window perform

    Step 1. Select name and template for new page
    Step 2. Page meta information setup (you may skip it for now)
    Step 3. Page menu setup (automatically the new button is created for your page with the identical name)
    •    Finish Page creation
